Architect

Jorge Teixeira Clemente, was born in Germany in 1979, has Portuguese nationality, graduated in 2003 as an architect in Arts University of Coimbra, Portugal (Escola Universitária das Artes de Coimbra). took his Master Degree (Hotels & Resorts) in 2014. he is Member number 12242 of the Portuguese Architects Board since 2004 and RIBA Chartered Member n°20036109 (Royal Institute of British Architects),

Began is professional career to collaborate in the studio of Professor Architect and Civil Engineer João Bigotte de Almeida (Portuguese) where he completed the academic cycle, that experience gave him a new professional approach to conceptual and functional architecture, later he collaborated with architect Francesco Marconi (Italian), experiences that marked his way of looking at the design and teamwork.

Since 2004 started his professional career, starting with villas and refurbishment projects. About 2006 with some experience in project manager, started a series of projects that highlighted his leadership skills while team project manager as well as the author of architectural design and interiors.

He had the opportunity to lead excelent professionals that resulted in projects and constructions of good level in diferent areas like hotels and resorts, industrial units and villas.

Currently own as a work reference the Real Abadia Congress & Spa Hotel****, Casa do Mezio Aromatic & Nature Hotel ****, Steyler Fatima Congress & Spa Hotel, Villas da Fonte leisure e nature aparthotel and LTS House, five examples of complete process control, was in this projects as well in others the project manager, author of architectural design, interior design and also the on-site inspector, coordinating and controlling material quality, delivery and cost control. He has also designed several villas, industrial units, hotels and resorts projects from 3 to 5 stars since 2006, totaling 25 hotel units, 36 Villas, 15 Medical and health care buildings/clinics, 10 industrial units, across Portugal and African countries .

In development/awaiting constructions are several industrial units in the area of recycling in African countries, as well as Hotels and Resorts in Portugal.

Had throughout his career accumulated professional awards and publications in journals.

in 2015 was appointed as one of the 5 oscares nominees to Portuguese architecture awards (2013/2014) in the category of Tourism - hotels with the:

in 2016 is appointed as one of the 9 oscares nominees to Portuguese architecture awards (2015) in the category of Tourism - hotels with the:

Casa do Mezio Aromatic & Nature Hotel**** and

Villas da Fonte Leisure & Nature Aparthotel ****

in 2016 began is public projects by winning 3 architectural competitions for the rehabilitation of 3 large schools in Portugal

In 2019 the office was named CLEM ARCHITECTS INTERNATIONAL with the new offices openning in Luxembourg and Dubai, and was integrated in
CLEM GROUP that gathers all group de companies and brands.
